WHY A LIVE EVENT PAINTER?

Having an event painter makes your party stand out - it not only intrigues your guests, but entertains them as well. Your crowd watches me take a blank canvas and over the course of the night, sees it take shape into a unique and memorable piece of art. Guests love checking in on the process throughout the evening, pointing themselves or their loved ones out.

 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Well, first - you hire me! Then, on the big day, I arrive one to two hours prior to the event to take down the details in a sketchbook. Soon after, I’ll start sketching the background and once guests start arriving, I start painting. I’ll add in the special people and moments of the night, capturing them as they unfold.

The entire process from start to finish will take longer than your event, so I will take the painting home to add the finishing touches and then allow it to completely dry. Once the piece is complete, it will be packaged and either hand-delivered locally or shipped out of town within weeks.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED - DO YOU TRAVEL?

My home is in New Orleans, and I happily paint in the New Orleans metro area - but I love to travel. A travel fee will be added to events booked outside of the NOLA metro area depending on the location.
